(More customer reviews)The actual float itself floats the camera fine with half of it submerged and the other half sticking straight up for easy finding but the problem is the connecting strap. on the strap there is a disconnect piece that doesnt take much to trigger, which will ultimately lead to your camera on the ocean floor somewhere. And below the disconnect where the smaller rope/string is to connect to camera breaks under stress quite easily. i'm happy mine broke while i was testing it so that i could rig up something much stronger that i could trust my 300$ camera with. only buy if your willing to make some modifications
