(More customer reviews)I bought this to be a simple optically triggered slave flash - it has worked flawlessly!
I have dragged it around to different photo shoots, dropped it, stuffed it in a bag with other junk with no padding, abused it and used it pretty hard. It just keeps ticking. For 40 bucks, I am surprised how well it has held up.
Now I use it on a radio triggered remote flash system for the portable studio in conjunction with my fancy Nikon Creative Lighting System as a background illumination flash.
It works great, was dirt cheap and has held up remarkably well considering the abuse I have put it through!
